Luna Chang

Waterloomaxxing is an image-based collage work that riffs off the multifaceted visual repositories existing within and around Waterloo. Playing on the new slang suffix “maxxing”, this work sees two artists populating the same canvas with two distinct visual expressions and imageries, in a maximalist culmination of found, captured and generative imaging methods. Each collage spotlights a different experimental approach to collaboration and play, showcasing how both artists navigate and communicate within the vernaculars of each other’s visual languages.
