Urban Rituals: Investigations of Happiness is a series of rendered photographs of my friends who are currently serving the nation. Many of them began struggling to find happiness and used various shadow comforts to make themselves feel better. I correlated my observations to the myth of how Vincent van Gogh used to consume yellow paint in his madness in the hopes of making himself feel happy.
